What the Israeli public thinks: The MidEast Mirror reports that a new poll of Israeli public opinion conducted by Haifa University's Center for National Security Studies "found that 48 percent say the government treats Israeli Arabs better than they deserve, 45 percent say Israeli Arabs should be denied the vote and the right to be elected to the Knesset, 63 percent want the government to encourage Israeli Arabs to emigrate out of the country, and 55 percent believe Israeli Arabs are a security risk to the state."06-25-2004.
